Tips for languishing souls

Like so many others, I’ve found life since 2020 to be a daily struggle. Finding a sense of purpose through life coaching has helped, but languishing is still something that challenges me every day.

Languishing isn’t laziness, although some people can callously label it that.

It’s not quite physical exhaustion, though it often feels like it.

And it’s not clinical depression, but they’re definitely close companions.

It’s more like a deep fog of pointlessness - a slow drift through life without energy or direction. It’s the absence of joy, the quiet theft of meaning, and it makes even the simplest things - like getting out of bed - feel impossibly hard.

I’m gathering up my best tips for easing back into life when it all feels too heavy, and I’ll be sharing them in a series across Bluesky, Instagram, and right here on my blog. One gentle tip a day for 30 days. 💗
